I. Timeliness

The client is given a twenty (20) minute grace period. If the client is more than 20 minutes late for an appointment we will have to reschedule your appointment for a later date and time and a $25 service charge will apply. It is at the stylist discretion to take your appointment or reschedule. 

II. Cancellations

All appointments are scheduled with no scheduling fee.  A twenty-four (24) hour cancellation notice is needed for all cancelled appointments.

If your appointment is not cancelled within the 24-hour cancellation period online or by e-mail,  the following will apply: $35.00 non-refundable fee will be collected in order to re book with us.  The $35.00 non-refundable fee can be used as a deposit and be deducted from the cost of your next service so you do not lose your money. If you do not show up for the appointment you rescheduled, you will be required to prepay for appointments in the future 100% or we may decide to not provide services.

III. Removal of Previous Styles

ALL STYLES   including but not limited to: coil twists, double strand twists, braids, loc and twist styles (braids and flat twists of locs including extension twists) must be REMOVED prior to your appointment.  If prior styles are not removed, please refer to the SERVICE CHARGE for removal below:


Coils twists: $10.00-20.00
Double Strand Twists: $15.00-$40.00 (depends upon length)
Havana Twists:$40 an hour
Natural  Extension Twists *Full head: $60 an hour
Loc Styles: $10.00-$20.00

Please note that an appointment includes only: a shampoo, conditioner or leave in  and the new style.

IV. Deposits

All natural extension twists, micro starter loc and custom integration loc bridge appointments require a $35.00-$50 non refundable  deposit. All deposits can be deducted from the first appointment.  A deposit is required for extension services due to the length of time required for an appointment above 4 hours. 

V: Children & Guests

Services are provided for children over the age of 5. Please refer to the youth natural service menu for a list of approved services.  Infants, children and any guests accompanying clients who are receiving services are not allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS.

VI: Client Satisfaction

 If a client is dissatisfied, I will gladly correct the style at the time of service. After leaving the salon, it is assumed that the style was satisfactory after the service has been rendered. While photos of other styles are great to use for inspiration, please note that each style will appear differently on each client. In addition, the appearance of a style depends upon texture and length.

VII. Forms of Payment

Cash is preferred. The Spalon also accepts VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER and AMEX charge cards with a 2.5% Service Charge. Square and Cash App is also accepted.  Personal checks are not accepted. 

 It is our desire to provide the client with the best possible service. Therefore, policies are created to serve you better.  Professional services are provided with your cooperation. Please remember that tardiness of one person delays all appointments following your scheduled appointment. Thank you for your continued support and patronage.
