A Heartfelt Thank You for 2023 (and Beyond!)
Hey my beautiful Sankofa fam,
As the clock strikes midnight on this wild, wonderful year, I find myself overflowing with gratitude. For 22 years, you've graced my doors and my heart with your laughter, your tears, and your unwavering trust. You've allowed me to be your stylist, your confidante, your hype woman, and sometimes, even your therapist (yep, that’s one of talents!!🤣).
Through thick and thin, you've shown up for yourselves, for each other, and for this little oasis I call Sankofa Spalon. You've rocked the boldest Afros, the baddest loc petals & bobs, your own natural confidence, and everything in between. You've bared your souls during scalp treatments, shed a few tears in awe of your transformative strength, and shared enough belly aching laughter to get me through the NEXT year!
Through it all, you've held onto that Sankofa spirit - that fierce determination to embrace your past, celebrate your present, and slay your future. And let me tell you, look forward to celebrating every step of the way with you.
So, from the bottom of my grateful heart, thank you. Thank you for being the wind beneath my loc bun, the sunshine on my face, and the loyal rhythm to sustaining my business. Thank you for trusting me with your crowns, your confidence, and your families.
